Cardiology

Cardiology is concerned with the study of the functioning of the cardiovascular system (heart and vessels) and the diseases that affect it.
At Golden Life American Hospital, we have technologies behind generations for good care.

  • Electrocardiogram (ECG)
  • Stress test
  • Angiography
  • Stent and balloon placements
  • Pacemaker
  • Holter pose

Electrocardiogram :

An electrocardiogram records the electrical signals in your heart. It’s a common and painless test used to quickly detect heart problems and monitor your heart’s health.

Stress test :

A stress test, also called an exercise stress test, shows how your heart works during physical activity. Because exercise makes your heart pump harder and faster, an exercise stress test can reveal problems with blood flow within your heart.

Angiography :

Angiography or arteriography is a medical imaging technique used to visualize the inside, or lumen , of blood vessels and organs of the body, with particular interest in the arteries , veins and the heart chambers

Stent placement :

A coronary artery stent is a small, metal mesh tube that expands inside a coronary artery. A stent is often placed during or immediately after angioplasty

Pacemaker :

A pacemaker is a small device that’s placed under the skin in your chest to help control your heartbeat. It’s used to help your heart beat more regularly if you have an irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia), particularly a slow one. Implanting a pacemaker in your chest requires a surgical procedure.

Holter :

Twenty-four hour Holter monitoring is a continuous test to record your heart’s rate and rhythm for 24 hours.
